“ We rolled in with our 2 large dogs and they took great care of all of us on the patio. The had a band playing inside and the music would drift out to us. Wonderful food, wonderful staff and wonderful locals! ”
“ Best Thanksgiving dinner I've had in a restaurant... easily. We ate here 2 nights on our long weekend away. Prices very reasonable. Adequate portions of great quality. Ribs were cooked perfectly but could have used just a little more sauce. Drink prices very reasonable... with lots of selection for a rural pub in a somewhat remote location. The view from the pub is amazing, and live trad music was a real treat. ”
“ We visited Cape Breton for 5 days and stayed at the Inn by the restaurant. We dined there 3 times including one time we were there for the Ceilidh night. Awesome atmosphere, awesome staff, great food! The fish fry was huge with generous french fries. During our stay, we tried a couple different seafood chowder at different places , but their seafood chowder’s broth by far was the most flavorful with clam essence. Highly recommend this place to check out when you’re in the area . ”
“ Cute pub with awesome live music, nice patio views, motel next door, and a liquor store all in one area. We had a burger and fries. It was tasty, a good size, and a good portion of fries, too. I would return in a heartbeat. ”
“ We went while in the area for dinner during the ceilidh matinee and absolutely loved it. I got the chicken parmesan pasta, my daughter's got the fish and chips and chicken fingers and fries. We also got the cookies and cream cheesecake. Everything was really good. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the chicken parmesan was. I really enjoyed it. I loved the decor of the location, I loved the location, the service and servers were great. We sat and ate upstairs which allows for a nice view of the bar down below. Pleasant experience, would definitely go back. The performance was great and worth the cost to pay to watch. ”
“ Food was delicious!! Great service, love the pub’s decorations and the view from there!! ”
“ Stumbled upon this gem when on vacation in 2024; was good enough drove off course to stop by for dinner when heading home to the states from NL. Great atmosphere, good beer list, tasty food, and friendly staff and patrons. Wish we lived closer - would likely become my regular. ”
“ Stopped here twice in August 2024 to and from an ATV trip in Newfoundland. Great busy pub with no complaints! Great food and a great view!! We all want to come back! ”
